Atomix entered a team in the recent Tutukaka small boats gamefishing tournament. With a free choice from our range their boat of choice was the Atomix 600HT. With over 20Hrs of trawling completed over the weekend they managed to hook up to a fish, only to lose it at the boat. The were extremly impressed with the boats set up and when they only used a third of the estimated fuel they came home smiling which is always a bonus. even after the one big one got away.
We plan to do a few more fishing tournaments, as we are boaties too and any excuse to get out there is a good one. So do look out for us we might be in your neighborhood soon. Alternatively if there is an event in your area coming up, give us a call we maybe interested in coming and entering or even putting up a prize.

Boat Show Time
We are going to attend two shows in the following days.
Atomix Boats is happy to announce another happy winner, Devon was our lucky winner at the recent Waikato Fishing and Boating Show.
Auckland International Boat Show
Atomix Boats is committed to getting out and about with their product and has recently attended the Auckland International Boat Show, the Auckland Boat Show and we took on the elements and the kingfish at the Kingz of Coromandel Fishing Tournament.
Quite simply we want as many people as possible to see the boats, and plan to take part in as many boating, diving and fishing related events as we can.
The next on our list is the Waikato Boating, Fishing and Leisure Show to be held at Mystery Creek from the 9-12 August, 2007.
One of our philosophies is to inject fun into everything we do - and shows and events are no exception. For example at the recent Auckland Boat Show our “Win Me Here!” competition received over 500 entries and we gave away a 3.6m inflatable boat worth almost $3000 and thanks to NZ Fishing Coast to Coast Magazine we also gave away 5 six month subscriptions to this wonderful publication.
Competition Winners
The winner of the 3.6m inflatable was: Nick Hayne.
The NZ Fishing Coast to Coast winners were: Phil Reid, John McIntosh, Reuben Hayward, W. Woodward and Bryan Bond.
We have some great plans, for future events too, so be sure to come see us – who knows what you could win!!?
